The black round sling, with a load capacity of 1,000 kg, is suitable for a variety of professional lifting and slinging tasks. With a working length of 2 meters, it offers a flexible and material-friendly way to safely lift, hoist, or move loads. The round sling is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the EN 1492-2 standard and has a safety factor of 7:1.
Inside the sling are high-strength, continuous polyester fibers that bear the actual load. A robust, woven polyester protective cover encloses these load-bearing fiber strands and reduces direct contact with the load. This provides better protection for the inner fibers against wear, dirt, abrasion, and external influences.
Thanks to its flexible design, the round sling adapts particularly well to different load shapes. Depending on the specific lifting situation, it can be used, among other ways, for direct attachment, as a lashed-on attachment, or in a looped configuration. Compared to traditional webbing slings, a round sling is particularly flexible and can be easily positioned even with irregularly shaped loads.
In accordance with standard color coding, the black color indicates a maximum load capacity of 1 metric ton. Additionally, there are identification stripes on the protective cover. Each woven stripe represents one metric ton of load capacity. The permanently attached product label contains the most important information for identifying the round sling and is protected from dirt and damage by a transparent sleeve.
The round sling is designed for a temperature range of -40 °C to +100 °C. Before each use, it should be thoroughly inspected for cuts, damage, heavy soiling, open seams, or other signs of wear. Damaged or unidentifiable round slings must no longer be used for lifting operations.
