The flame retardant for fabrics is a highly concentrated, halogen-free, and very skin-friendly product. It consists of a clear aqueous solution of a phosphorus-nitrogen compound. It provides excellent effectiveness even at low application quantities. The product has little to no afterglow time. It is supplied as a concentrate. It is recommended to mix the product with water. The ideal ratio is 1:2 (flame retardant to water). The fire behavior should be tested after impregnation and, if necessary, submitted to the fire department for inspection.
Surface coverage:
- 100 ml for 3 m² of polyester fabric or 1.5 m² of cotton fabric
Total coverage overview:
- 1 liter for 30 m² of polyester or 15 m² of cotton
- 5 liters for 150 m² of polyester or 75 m² of cotton
